3% General Wage Increase for July 1, 2024

We hope you are enjoying the start of the Spring season.

We wanted to send you a note about your upcoming general wage increase (GWI) that comes into effect on July 1, 2024.

As you may remember, your GWI for 2024 is a guaranteed 2% increase, plus a potential inflation adjustment increase of another 1% if the BC inflation rate remains above 2%.

The inflation adjustment increase is based on the annualized average of the BC Consumer Price Index (CPI) over the previous 12-month period of March to February. Read more about 3% General Wage Increase for July 1, 2024
