Dear Members,

The results of the vote to ratify the latest collective agreement between AAPS and UBC are as follows:

1,316   In Favour

     35   Opposed

1,351   Total Votes

The University will now move through its ratification process by the Board of Governors in the next week to ten days at which point the agreement will go into effect. We have been advised by the University it will take several weeks to process general wage increases retroactive to July 1, 2012. The University will also begin notifying those departments and faculties affected by market survey adjustments.

On behalf of the bargaining committee, thank you for all the messages of support throughout the negotiation process.
